Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Costică Dincă kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vali Bitănescu during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vali Bitănescu kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Manole Brad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vorovesti CSS's Remus Aaxiniei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costică Dincă in the 11th minute of play. Mihăiţă Bocaneț's late challenge caught a Monariu FCM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mihăiţă Bocaneț helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th minute, Mihăiţă Bocaneț hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Costică Dincă took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Remus Aaxiniei to make any attempt to save it. A hard shot 19 in the game by Manole Brad from a close distance when the talented Remus Aaxiniei managed to make a qualified save. Vorovesti CSS's players were relieved. Costică Dincă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Remus Aaxiniei made a huge save. In the 24th minute of the match, Costică Dincă tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Remus Aaxiniei saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Manole Brad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Remus Aaxiniei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iustin Lăcătușu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 33 played minutes Vorovesti CSS got a freekick which was hit by Manole Lucrețiu. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Monariu FCM's Costică Dincă in the 35th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Remus Aaxiniei was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Vorovesti CSS through an amazing save. After 36 played minutes Vorovesti CSS got a freekick which was hit by Mihăiţă Bocaneț. If Sandu Voiculescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 45 played minutes Monariu FCM got a freekick which was hit by Costică Dincă. A collision led to Vorovesti CSS getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Iurie Homeag hit a great ball. Mihai Mirea was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 48th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Remus Aaxiniei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manole Brad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mihai Mirea hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Remus Aaxiniei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manole Brad, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Viorel Marchiș made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Petre Georgescu sent off a good shot on target. Manole Brad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remus Aaxiniei having to interfere. Sandu Voiculescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Remus Aaxiniei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Costică Dincă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Manole Brad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monariu FCM's supporters rose to their feet, but Manole Brad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remus Aaxiniei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Iustin Lăcătușu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Remus Aaxiniei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costică Dincă, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Petre Georgescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Viorel Marchiș. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Petre Georgescu ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Monariu FCM's zone, Iustin Lăcătușu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viorel Marchiș came out of the goal and Iustin Lăcătușu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Monariu FCM fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vorovesti CSS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
