Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Panait Bălașa kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Panait Bălașa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sanmiclaus CS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CFR CLUJ the free kick. After 3 played minutes Sanmiclaus CS got a freekick which was hit by Panait Bălașa. Sven-Oskar Ferm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petre Chitila having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Sanmiclaus CS's goalkeeper Petre Chitila had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albrecht Brenner. A hard shot 10 in the game by Albrecht Brenner from a close distance when the talented Petre Chitila managed to make a qualified save. Sanmiclaus CS's players were relieved. Albrecht Brenner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petre Chitila read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Lei Chao Ting kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. When Petre Drăucean came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Sanmiclaus CS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petre Drăucean couldn't finish the play. In the 17th minute Eric Pască shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicu Magheran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petre Chitila stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albrecht Brenner's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. If Albrecht Brenner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Sanmiclaus CS's goal looked a bit too open when Codruț Culiță came free, but Petre Chitila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, CFR CLUJ's Dharmamandhu Verma seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dharmamandhu Verma the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of CFR CLUJ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dharmamandhu Verma had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Sanmiclaus CS booed when CFR CLUJ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dharmamandhu Verma didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute of the match Petre Drăucean shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicu Magheran showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nicu Magheran didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dumitru Pacurar went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 38th minute Panait Bălașa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicu Magheran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Albrecht Brenner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Sanmiclaus CS's zone, Romeo Duca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petre Chitila came out of the goal and Romeo Duca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The CFR CLUJ fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when CFR CLUJ's Albrecht Brenner looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Sven-Oskar Ferm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Petre Chitila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albrecht Brenner, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Nicu Magheran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Nicu Magheran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panait Bălașa, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Albrecht Brenner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the game, Sanmiclaus CS's Eric Pască nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicu Magheran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 79th minute, Eric Pască ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicu Magheran was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Petre Chitila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albrecht Brenner, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Petre Chitila stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albrecht Brenner's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. The audience was convinced that Albrecht Brenner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Petre Chitila was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eric Pască during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eric Pască kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Sanmiclaus CS's Petre Chitila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albrecht Brenner in the 95th minute of play. The Sanmiclaus CS players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
