The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iordache Avădanei was the one to do the kick off. Verpole's Iordache Avădanei got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Liviu Hurmuzescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Iordache Avădanei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Verpole's supporters rose to their feet, but Iordache Avădanei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorel Achifoaiei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Fabian Enache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Leo F.C. booed when Verpole was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karol Poling didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iordache Avădanei struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Dorel Achifoaiei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Verpole. Iordache Avădanei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Dorel Achifoaiei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
