After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Șerban Harhoiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. BvB 09's supporters rose to their feet, but Șerban Harhoiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisc Madgearu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Șerban Harhoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisc Madgearu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panait Podgoreanu in the 7th minute of play. Gelu Pavalescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sabin Beca, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 14th minute, Șerban Harhoiu made a precise shot to the right of Francisc Madgearu. Ghermani AS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 23rd minute Sabin Beca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gelu Pavalescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Cătălin Seremet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ghermani AS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. BvB 09 the free kick. 26 minutes into the game, one of Ghermani AS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The supporters of F.C. BvB 09 booed when Ghermani AS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Tăzlăuanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisc Madgearu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panait Podgoreanu in the 36th minute of the match. Sabin Beca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gelu Pavalescu having to interfere. Dacian Zgabei scored 1-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gelu Pavalescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Panait Podgoreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Francisc Madgearu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gelu Pavalescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sabin Beca in the 55th minute of the match. Francisc Madgearu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Șerban Harhoiu went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Sabin Beca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Gelu Pavalescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nae Prislop charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nae Prislop the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th match minute, F.C. BvB 09 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nae Prislop to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Panait Podgoreanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Sabin Beca came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Ghermani AS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sabin Beca couldn't finish the play. Gabriel Tăzlăuanu charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Tăzlăuanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd minute, Gabriel Tăzlăuanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Șerban Harhoiu in the 84th minute of play forced Ghermani AS's goalkeeper Francisc Madgearu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dacian Zgabei got free with Gelu Pavalescu in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th minute, Dacian Zgabei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to F.C. BvB 09 getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Eugenio Quirce hit a great ball. F.C. BvB 09 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ghermani AS for a fine match.
