Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Panait Podgoreanu got the match started through his kick off. Șerban Harhoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Costea having to interfere. Manuel Condrea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Gelu Pavalescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gelu Pavalescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Condrea, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Panait Podgoreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Costea having to interfere. Radu Călimanescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gelu Pavalescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Leonard Costea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panait Podgoreanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Panait Podgoreanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Șerban Harhoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Leonard Costea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. F.C. BvB 09's Panait Podgoreanu got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Hunedoara CSS getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Ionel Dima hit a great ball. Ştefan Ştefoi hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Gelu Pavalescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Condrea in the 29th minute of play. F.C. BvB 09's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Manuel Condrea 30 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Condrea in the 38th minute of play forced F.C. BvB 09's goalkeeper Gelu Pavalescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Șerban Harhoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristinel Stelian in the 43rd minute of play forced Hunedoara CSS's goalkeeper Leonard Costea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Condrea was the one to do the kick off. After 56 minutes, Ionel Dima mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hunedoara CSS and the F.C. BvB 09 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leonard Costea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Panait Podgoreanu went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 61st minute Manuel Condrea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gelu Pavalescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Condrea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gelu Pavalescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Condrea, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. If Șerban Harhoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Șerban Harhoiu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 76th playminute. F.C. BvB 09's Gelu Pavalescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Condrea in the 84th minute of play. If Manuel Condrea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, F.C. BvB 09's Cosmin Aldulescu got a free kick in the 90th minute. After 91 played minutes, Hunedoara CSS's Călin Petru shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gelu Pavalescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hunedoara CSS reached it. Șerban Harhoiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Șerban Harhoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. F.C. BvB 09 were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Hunedoara CSS's much stronger midfield.
