Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sabin Beca started the match with the kick off. Gică Petruescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabin Beca in the 3rd minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Ghermani AS's Dacian Zgabei nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gică Petruescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Gică Petruescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabin Beca in the 16th minute of play. When Sabin Beca came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Ghermani AS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sabin Beca couldn't finish the play. Ciprian Pipirig hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Francisc Madgearu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Coșmeanu in the 33rd minute of the match. After 33 played minutes Filipeni got a freekick which was hit by David Hăvârneanu. Gică Petruescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabin Beca in the 34th minute of play. Edgar Coșmeanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Marcel Spirea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ghermani AS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Filipeni the free kick. Marcel Spirea kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Ghermani AS's Francisc Madgearu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nechifor Vişoianu in the 38th minute of play. After recieving a nice pass, Ghermani AS's Dorin Neacșu tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgar Coșmeanu was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dan Brânzeu during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ghermani AS booed when Filipeni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Brânzeu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisc Madgearu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nechifor Vişoianu in the 56th minute. After having played for 58 minutes, Sabin Beca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ghermani AS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sabin Beca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dacian Zgabei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gică Petruescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Filipeni's goalkeeper Gică Petruescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gică Petruescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dacian Zgabei went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 72nd minute, Dacian Zgabei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gică Petruescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dacian Zgabei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute, Sabin Beca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ciprian Pipirig got his second yellow card in the match during the 80th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 81st match minute, Ghermani AS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciprian Pipirig to maneuver through the defense. Dan Brânzeu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisc Madgearu having to interfere. Gică Petruescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Tăzlăuanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 89th minute, Dacian Zgabei made a precise shot to the right of Gică Petruescu. Filipeni's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. 95 minutes into the match, Ghermani AS's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Coșmeanu came free, but Francisc Madgearu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 97 minutes Ghermani AS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cristi Pantiș who took care of the corner kick. Filipeni's Cristi Pantiș was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Francisc Madgearu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
