A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Grigore Sava ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mihail Ogică was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Paul Şania kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After some careless play in the AFC Ajax defense, Constantin Răchiteanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emil Tomescu. The AFC Ajax fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emil Tomescu should have stopped the shot. Ionuț Podgoreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ion Bara charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ion Bara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sitani getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Constantin Răchiteanu to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Constantin Răchiteanu got free with Emil Tomescu in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded Sitani left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than AFC Ajax.
