Harald Nordin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidiu Cociubei in the 5th minute of the match. Ovidiu Cociubei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Harald Nordin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Nicodim Boboc kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. A hard shot by Aurel Albescu from long distance, 10 minutes into the match, got Harald Nordin's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Aurel Albescu made a great header on Bacaia's corner, it was just that OLTCHIM's Harald Nordin managed to reach the ball for a save. Zahid Şärifov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22ndth minute of the game Zahid Şärifov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bacaia's Ovidiu Cupșa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Filip Mereacre hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. If Zahid Şärifov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, OLTCHIM's Zahid Şärifov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ovidiu Cupșa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gabriel Ciurea came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Harald Nordin could save by the left post. Harald Nordin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gabriel Ciurea showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ovidiu Cociubei was the one to do the kick off. After 55 played minutes Bacaia got a freekick which was hit by Panait Săvescu. In the 57th minute, Leontin Dan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ovidiu Cupșa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 61st minute, Ionuț Hurezan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ovidiu Cupșa acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 63rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nicodim Boboc. The supporters of OLTCHIM booed when Bacaia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurel Albescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bacaia's Ovidiu Cupșa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Bacaia from getting a goal against them. Harald Nordin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidiu Cociubei in the 68th minute of the match. Adan Bartolome received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Ovidiu Cupșa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. OLTCHIM's Adan Bartolome was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 74th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After having played for 78 minutes, Leontin Dan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. OLTCHIM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leontin Dan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bacaia's zone, Adan Bartolome stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidiu Cupșa came out of the goal and Adan Bartolome tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Leontin Dan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Ciurea in the 87th minute of play forced OLTCHIM's goalkeeper Harald Nordin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Bacaia's Cezar Jumancă got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After 94 minutes, Leontin Dan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the OLTCHIM and the Bacaia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th match minute, OLTCHIM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leontin Dan to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the game, Vintilă Raţiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. OLTCHIM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bacaia the free kick. Vintilă Raţiu hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. 97 minutes into the match, Bacaia's Aurel Albescu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the final whistle sounded OLTCHIM left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bacaia.
