In the 22ndth minute of the game Dinu Feroiu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balint's Octavian Floricel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Dinu Feroiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicu Zafiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Dacian Curta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dacian Curta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicu Zafiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Panait Brănet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Octavian Floricel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dinu Feroiu in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Octavian Floricel saved Balint from getting behind. Nicu Zafiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dinu Feroiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Floricel having to interfere. After having played for 45 minutes, Panait Brănet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UF Dinamobrasov's supporters crossed their fingers, but Panait Brănet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Octavian Floricel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinu Feroiu in the 47th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicu Zafiu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Panait Brănet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Floricel having to interfere. After 82 played minutes Balint got a freekick which was hit by Eusebiu Zdrelea. Dinu Feroiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Panait Brănet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Octavian Floricel having to make a save. 90 minutes into the match, Balint's goal looked a bit too open when Dinu Feroiu came free, but Octavian Floricel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicu Zafiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
