Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Iustinian Amânaloae started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes of play, Gladiatorii Fc's Răzvan Sângeorzan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Denis Andrieșanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gigel Zgîrţa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iustinian Amânaloae in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisc Cândea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iustinian Amânaloae charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iustinian Amânaloae the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Iustinian Amânaloae hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gladiatorii Fc's zone, Iustinian Amânaloae stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisc Cândea came out of the goal and Iustinian Amânaloae tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustinian Amânaloae in the 25th minute of play forced Gladiatorii Fc's goalkeeper Francisc Cândea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Gladiatorii Fc getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Nechifor Agrigoroaiei hit a great ball. Gigel Zgîrţa was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 28th minute. Oroftiana FCM's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Francisc Cândea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gigel Zgîrţa in the 32nd minute. After having played for 43 minutes, Gigel Zgîrţa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oroftiana FCM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gigel Zgîrţa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Denis Andrieșanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Gologan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dacian Albu hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Răzvan Sângeorzan to make the kick off. Francisc Cândea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustinian Amânaloae in the 54th minute of the match. After 55th play minutes Gigel Zgîrţa shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Francisc Cândea and just under the crossbar into goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dacian Albu during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Oroftiana FCM getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Dacian Albu hit a great ball. Denis Andrieșanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Răzvan Sângeorzan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gigel Zgîrţa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisc Cândea having to interfere. If Răzvan Sângeorzan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88 minutes, Sandu Panaitescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oroftiana FCM and the Gladiatorii Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Gladiatorii Fc booed when Oroftiana FCM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandu Panaitescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Gladiatorii Fc's Marcu Berechet broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
