In the 9th minute of the match Fortareata got a corner. Potelu CSM's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mihail Gaiță ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 14th minute, Potelu CSM's Iordache Beraru dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nechifor Cumpan in the 17th minute of play forced Fortareata's goalkeeper Isak Bergqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Potelu CSM's Gunnar Glanselius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 韩银岩 in the 20th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Potelu CSM's goal looked a bit too open when 韩银岩 came free, but Gunnar Glanselius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute 韩银岩 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Glanselius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isak Bergqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nechifor Cumpan, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. When Potelu CSM's Nechifor Cumpan in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fortareata's goalie prevented a goal. If Nicu Hoancă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Potelu CSM getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Petre Gligor hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nechifor Cumpan to make the kick off. Petre Gligor kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After having played for 69 minutes, Nechifor Cumpan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Potelu CSM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nechifor Cumpan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nechifor Cumpan struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Isak Bergqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Potelu CSM. Felix Ciorăscu, 75 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Felix Bojonca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Nechifor Cumpan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nechifor Cumpan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isak Bergqvist having to interfere. Potelu CSM's Gunnar Glanselius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Potelu CSM from getting a goal against them. Gabriel Bârsan made in the 97th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Anton Dincă immediately put the ball in play. Potelu CSM's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
