Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Carloman FC's Cristi Bădiliță started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Carloman FC booed when Potelu CSM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moise Ivănescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gunnar Glanselius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristi Bădiliță in the 4th minute of the match. Nechifor Cumpan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nechifor Cumpan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 13 minutes, Claudio Belasko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Potelu CSM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudio Belasko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Potelu CSM's goal looked a bit too open when Călin Rotariu came free, but Gunnar Glanselius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Călin Rotariu in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gunnar Glanselius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nechifor Cumpan might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marius Furdui. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nechifor Cumpan ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Carloman FC's goalkeeper Marius Furdui, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gunnar Glanselius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxim Filipoiu in the 28th minute of play. Gunnar Glanselius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Călin Rotariu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gunnar Glanselius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristi Bădiliță in the 32nd minute of the match. Marius Furdui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Belasko in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute Maxim Filipoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Glanselius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Potelu CSM's Ovidiu Pătran got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 37 played minutes, Carloman FC's Petruț Giosu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gunnar Glanselius came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carloman FC reached it. In the 40th minute Nechifor Cumpan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marius Furdui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Carloman FC's goalkeeper Marius Furdui, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gunnar Glanselius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristi Bădiliță in the 44th minute of play. Claudio Belasko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudio Belasko to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Maxim Filipoiu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gunnar Glanselius. Maxim Filipoiu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Moise Ivănescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Potelu CSM's supporters rose to their feet, but Moise Ivănescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marius Furdui breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristi Bădiliță was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 67th minute. Carloman FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 67th minute of the match, Maxim Filipoiu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gunnar Glanselius saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Potelu CSM's Gunnar Glanselius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristi Bădiliță in the 69th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Carloman FC's zone, Felix Bojonca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marius Furdui came out of the goal and Felix Bojonca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marius Furdui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Bojonca, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Marius Furdui came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Potelu CSM's Felix Bojonca. But to his dismay, Felix Bojonca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Claudio Belasko struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Marius Furdui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Potelu CSM. In the 92nd minute, Moise Ivănescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
