Robert Gruia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olimpiu Meleșcanu having to interfere. Olimpiu Meleșcanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robert Gruia's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Mugur Zbughină sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luca Jilăveanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sever Ignătescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 18th match minute, Terca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Cezar to maneuver through the defense. Olimpiu Meleșcanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costin Voicu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert Gruia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olimpiu Meleșcanu having to interfere. Costin Voicu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Costin Voicu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Terca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Robert Gruia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olimpiu Meleșcanu having to interfere. Cherimcuius CSM's Olimpiu Meleșcanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Gruia in the 41st minute of play. Costin Voicu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Cherimcuius CSM's zone, Costin Voicu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olimpiu Meleșcanu came out of the goal and Costin Voicu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emanuel Arnăuțoiu might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luca Jilăveanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuel Arnăuțoiu ran back to his position shaking his head. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sever Ignătescu made a kick off. Costin Voicu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olimpiu Meleșcanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 59th match minute, Terca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Cezar to maneuver through the defense. Sever Ignătescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luca Jilăveanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sever Ignătescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert Gruia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Olimpiu Meleșcanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denis Homeag kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Robert Gruia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olimpiu Meleșcanu made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Costin Voicu sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Costin Voicu got free with Olimpiu Meleșcanu in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robert Gruia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Olimpiu Meleșcanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute of the match Emil Zdrăilă shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olimpiu Meleșcanu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luca Jilăveanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sever Ignătescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Terca walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
