Valentin Blajovici was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Codrin Răduțu took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valentin Blajovici. Ionel Gâfu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Valentin Blajovici tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Codrin Răduțu struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Valentin Blajovici didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Victoria M.Buzau. Victoria M.Buzau's Karol Tokarczyk suffered a sore thigh after 31 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Iustinian Bârlea fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Simon's protests and gave Iustinian Bârlea a yellow card for diving instead. Victoria M.Buzau made a substitution. Gigi Ţopescu replaced Karol Tokarczyk. After 32 played minutes Simon got a freekick which was hit by Iustinian Bârlea. Filip Lăcătușu kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 41st minute Gigi Ţopescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Blajovici saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eduard Brădescu made a kick off. Sebastian Achifoaiei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Ciupe, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 59 minutes into the game, Codrin Răduțu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Valentin Blajovici. Victoria M.Buzau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Simon the free kick. After a rather tough play, Victoria M.Buzau's Filip Lăcătușu got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Codrin Răduțu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victoria M.Buzau's Sebastian Achifoaiei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard Brădescu in the 70th minute of play. A collision led to Victoria M.Buzau getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Filip Lăcătușu hit a great ball. Gigi Ţopescu took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valentin Blajovici. Valentin Blajovici dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. 76 minutes into the match, Simon's goal looked a bit too open when Gigi Ţopescu came free, but Valentin Blajovici reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victoria M.Buzau were furious when Manole Tutuianu was red carded, 77 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 77th minute, one of Victoria M.Buzau:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Victoria M.Buzau. A collision led to Simon getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Moise Bobeanu hit a great ball. Moise Bobeanu kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. If Sorin Alexandru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Valentin Blajovici made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ionel Gâfu in the 88th minute. Mihnea Drâmba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Valentin Blajovici tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Codrin Răduțu had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 91 minutes, Eduard Brădescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Simon and the Victoria M.Buzau players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Eduard Brădescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Filip Lăcătușu came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Victoria M.Buzau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filip Lăcătușu couldn't finish the play.
