Cristi Tudoran took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabian Enoaia. Calapodesti CS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ciprian Bălțăteanu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 5th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a little luck, Calapodesti CS's Fabian Enoaia got control of the ball when Ciprian Bălțăteanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Ciprian Bălțăteanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Basarab Macavei put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fabian Enoaia. Fabian Enoaia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basarab Macavei in the 15th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iacob Gheban during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 23 minutes into the match, Halanga's Narcis Crăciun broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nae Neculce in the 27th minute of play forced Halanga's goalkeeper Adam Bourceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabian Enoaia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciprian Bălțăteanu in the 30th minute. Adam Bourceanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nae Neculce in the 34th minute of the match. If Ferdinand Marinescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Ciprian Bălțăteanu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fabian Enoaia, passed just outside the right post. When Nae Neculce came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Calapodesti CS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nae Neculce couldn't finish the play. If Nae Neculce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Basarab Macavei made a kick off. If Basarab Macavei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciprian Bălțăteanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabian Enoaia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciprian Bălțăteanu in the 59th minute of play. Iacob Gheban was shown his second yellow card after 62 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 63rd minute, Iacob Gheban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ciprian Bălțăteanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. Calapodesti CS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Halanga the free kick. Viorel Ţăranu hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Ciprian Bălțăteanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Basarab Macavei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Calapodesti CS's Ferdinand Marinescu got a free kick in the 91st minute. Fabian Enoaia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciprian Bălțăteanu in the 92nd minute of the match. Nae Neculce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Bourceanu having to interfere. Halanga were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Calapodesti CS for a fine match.
