Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Horia Arapașu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the game, one of Remecioara SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Studena a penalty, 6 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Aristide Rogozanu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Remecioara SC's Vintilă Iosif. 0-1. When Horia Arapașu came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Remecioara SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horia Arapașu couldn't finish the play. In the 11th minute, Nichifor Tilea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nae Bădilescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Mugur Buteanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd match minute, Remecioara SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrei Frențiu to maneuver through the defense. If Iordache Păstrăv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nae Bădilescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nichifor Tilea went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 42nd minute, Remecioara SC's Nichifor Tilea ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nae Bădilescu. Nae Bădilescu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiberiu Milcoveanu during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Studena getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Tiberiu Milcoveanu hit a great ball. In the 49th minute, Horia Arapașu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iordache Păstrăv stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Nicolae Ciuvică sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nae Bădilescu skillfully saved the ball. Nae Bădilescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viorel Dorineanu in the 55th minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Tiberiu Milcoveanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remecioara SC's Vintilă Iosif proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Remecioara SC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Studena's zone, Nichifor Tilea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nae Bădilescu came out of the goal and Nichifor Tilea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nae Bădilescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horia Arapașu in the 65th minute of the match. The supporters of Remecioara SC booed when Studena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihai Dindelegan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute Horia Arapașu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nae Bădilescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Studena's Ionuț Tirulescu got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 77 minutes into the game, Ionuț Tirulescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Studena's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Remecioara SC the free kick. Vintilă Iosif didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mugur Buteanu went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Nae Bădilescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horia Arapașu's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. If Horia Arapașu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Remecioara SC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Studena had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
