Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sergiu Niculescu took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Steaua Bucuresti's goal looked a bit too open when Nichifor Tilea came free, but Liviu Rușanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Liviu Rușanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viorel Dorineanu in the 5th minute of the match. In the 6thth minute of the game Ernest Maghiar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Remecioara SC's Vintilă Iosif was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horia Arapașu in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. Dorin Ozon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vintilă Iosif. Remecioara SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Ernest Maghiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute.
