Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Remecioara SC's Horia Arapașu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Remecioara SC's Vintilă Iosif got control of the ball when Francisc Ieremia tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 6 minutes, Horia Arapașu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Remecioara SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horia Arapașu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Remecioara SC booed when Rucar CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxim Molodețiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Remecioara SC's Petruț Alexe broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After having played for 15 minutes, Horia Arapașu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Remecioara SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horia Arapașu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sebastian Cioacă stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horia Arapașu's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Rucar CF's Sebastian Cioacă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horia Arapașu in the 26th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernest Scutaru during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Rucar CF getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Ernest Scutaru hit a great ball. Vintilă Iosif took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavian Panaite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nichifor Tilea in the 35th minute of play forced Rucar CF's goalkeeper Sebastian Cioacă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th match minute, Remecioara SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viorel Dorineanu to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Remecioara SC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Octavian Panaite made a kick off. Sebastian Cioacă was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Horia Arapașu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 53 minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Horia Arapașu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sebastian Cioacă, passed just outside the right post. Sebastian Cioacă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horia Arapașu in the 63rd minute of play. Sebastian Cioacă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horia Arapașu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Octavian Panaite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nichifor Tilea might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastian Cioacă. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nichifor Tilea ran back to his position shaking his head. Rucar CF's Sebastian Cioacă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horia Arapașu in the 85th minute of play. When Remecioara SC's Horia Arapașu in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rucar CF's goalie prevented a goal. Nichifor Tilea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Cioacă having to interfere. Remecioara SC played a much better game than Rucar CF and deserved their victory. The Rucar CF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
