Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 7th minute, Mugurel Bivolaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Liviu Dedu scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Horia Cristocea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Marapici CSM's zone, Mugurel Bivolaru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horia Cristocea came out of the goal and Mugurel Bivolaru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th match minute, Marapici CSM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernest Leluțiu to maneuver through the defense. Liviu Dedu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 24th match minute, Ciclovina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gigel Bulcă to maneuver through the defense. If Liviu Dedu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 played minutes Marapici CSM got a freekick which was hit by Grigore Păvăloae. Dan Surugiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Liviu Dedu in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horia Cristocea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 31 minutes into the game, Ciclovina's Liviu Dedu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Horia Cristocea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Liviu Dedu struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Horia Cristocea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ciclovina. Mugurel Bivolaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Horia Cristocea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Liviu Dedu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mugurel Bivolaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Horia Cristocea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Mugurel Bivolaru got free with Horia Cristocea in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Liviu Dedu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ciclovina's supporters rose to their feet, but Liviu Dedu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horia Cristocea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A well placed Liviu Dedu short distance shot in the 57th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Ţintea in the 61st minute of play forced Ciclovina's goalkeeper Aurelian Ticulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Marapici CSM's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gigel Bulcă fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Liviu Dedu took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Horia Cristocea to make any attempt to save it. Mugurel Bivolaru was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 79th minute. Ciclovina's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A hard shot 81 in the game by Mugurel Bivolaru from a close distance when the talented Horia Cristocea managed to make a qualified save. Marapici CSM's players were relieved. If Dan Surugiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mugurel Bivolarus short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Horia Cristocea to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Marapici CSM defense, Mugurel Bivolaru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horia Cristocea. The Marapici CSM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horia Cristocea should have stopped the shot. If Liviu Dedu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Ciclovina left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Marapici CSM.
