Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Narcis Cornea started the match with the kick off. Medivisch FCM's Alexandru Stamate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narcis Cornea in the 3rd minute of play. Ilie Stafie's late challenge caught a Teascu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ilie Stafie helped the player get up and apologised. After 4 played minutes Medivisch FCM got a freekick which was hit by Ilie Stafie. Ilie Stafie got his second yellow card in the match during the 5th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Teascu booed when Medivisch FCM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilie Stafie didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 8 played minutes Medivisch FCM got a freekick which was hit by Moise Băcila. 9 minutes into the match, Teascu's Emil Dragota broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 10th minute Narcis Cornea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandru Stamate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paul Ciorănescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandru Stamate having to interfere. With his leg Alexandru Stamate managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Teascu's Paul Ciorănescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 28 played minutes Medivisch FCM got a freekick which was hit by Eric Costandin. 28 minutes into the match, Teascu's Emil Dragota broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Alexandru Stamate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narcis Cornea in the 30th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paul Ciorănescu got free with Alexandru Stamate in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Narcis Cornea struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Alexandru Stamate didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Teascu. Romeo Boldur was shown his second yellow card after 37 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Teascu booed when Medivisch FCM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Boldur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Narcis Cornea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paul Ciorănescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandru Stamate having to interfere. In the 45thth minute of the game Narcis Cornea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Medivisch FCM's Alexandru Stamate was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dorin Oprea made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Ciorănescu in the 53rd minute of play forced Medivisch FCM's goalkeeper Alexandru Stamate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandru Stamate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narcis Cornea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute Narcis Cornea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandru Stamate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Paul Ciorănescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandru Stamate stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Narcis Cornea's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. A collision led to Medivisch FCM getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Mihăiţă Popeneciu hit a great ball. Paul Ciorănescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexandru Stamate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narcis Cornea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paul Ciorănescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexandru Stamate. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paul Ciorănescu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 91st minute Narcis Cornea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandru Stamate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cazimir Josan in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexandru Stamate saved Medivisch FCM from getting behind.
