Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aurelian Calboreanu started the match with the kick off. Costin Pascaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 6 played minutes Matisfalva got a freekick which was hit by Lucrețiu Roşu. Iosif Astafiei struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Cosmin Dorian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matisfalva. In the 11th match minute, Lasau CSM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Stroe to maneuver through the defense. Cosmin Dorian was a little too slow when Iordache Găman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. Luca Răţescu charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luca Răţescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Matisfalva:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lasau CSM:s goal. Alexandru Ciocan walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. With his leg Cosmin Dorian managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Matisfalva's Iosif Astafiei fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Aurelian Calboreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Matisfalva defense, Aurelian Calboreanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Codrin Horațiu. The Matisfalva fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Codrin Horațiu should have stopped the shot. Aurelian Calboreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 38 played minutes Matisfalva got a freekick which was hit by Robert Bogza. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iosif Şuţu during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Codrin Horațiu came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Lasau CSM's Aurelian Calboreanu. But to his dismay, Aurelian Calboreanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 46th minute Aurelian Calboreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codrin Horațiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iordache Găman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosmin Dorian having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iordache Găman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Codrin Horațiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Costin Pascaru in the 52nd minute. Codrin Horațiu made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Costin Pascaru sent off a good shot on target. Iosif Şuţu hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Cosmin Dorian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iosif Şuţu, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Lasau CSM's Aurelian Calboreanu got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 72 minutes, Aurelian Calboreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lasau CSM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelian Calboreanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Codrin Horațiu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Costin Pascaru went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. The supporters of Matisfalva booed when Lasau CSM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Gruescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Lasau CSM's Aurelian Calboreanu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Codrin Horațiu. That made the score 1-5 after 79 minutes of play. After 85 played minutes Lasau CSM got a freekick which was hit by Paul Spânu. Matisfalva's Codrin Horațiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Matisfalva from getting a goal against them. Costin Pascaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Lasau CSM could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Matisfalva throughout the match.
