Fabian Paulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Iurie Zbârciog tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Teodor Bărbat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Felix Hâncu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Razoare's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Hâncu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mădălin Nae breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Razoare's Felix Hâncu got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Vintilă Epure fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Giurfalau's protests and gave Vintilă Epure a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th minute, Vintilă Epure hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience held their breath when Dorin Burdujan in the 28th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Mădălin Nae's left hand side. In the 44th minute, Leontin Bărbătescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teodor Bărbat to strike the kick off in the second half. Leontin Bărbătescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiberiu Florescu during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mădălin Nae showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodor Bărbat, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Leontin Bărbătescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
