In the 13th minute Dragoş Vulcănescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sever Caramitru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sever Caramitru made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Denis Aronescu sent off a good shot on target. Gică Lucan struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Basarab Cociubei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Farul 1983. Sever Caramitru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dragoş Vulcănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The wind increased when Gică Lucan made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Gică Lucan put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Basarab Cociubei. After a defensive mix-up in Comanita SC's zone, Gică Lucan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basarab Cociubei came out of the goal and Gică Lucan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Albert Ostoici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basarab Cociubei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panait Marinică, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Gică Lucans short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Basarab Cociubei to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gică Lucan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denis Aronescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sever Caramitru having to interfere. Gică Lucan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gică Lucan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Basarab Cociubei having to make a save. Corneliu Şteţ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Basarab Cociubei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sever Caramitru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandu Aluchei in the 94th minute of play. When the match was over Fc Farul 1983 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Comanita SC throughout the match.
