Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fabian Paulescu took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Fc Farul 1983's goal looked a bit too open when Codrin Manafu came free, but Sever Caramitru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giurfalau's Mădălin Nae proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Giurfalau from getting a goal against them. Leontin Bărbătescu's late challenge caught a Fc Farul 1983's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leontin Bărbătescu helped the player get up and apologised. Gică Lucan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Sever Caramitru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 42 minutes into the match, Fc Farul 1983's goal looked a bit too open when Tiberiu Florescu came free, but Sever Caramitru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mădălin Nae was a little too slow when Gică Lucan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gică Lucan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Giurfalau's Mădălin Nae played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gică Lucan in the 54th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiberiu Florescu got free with Sever Caramitru in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 58 minutes into the match, Fc Farul 1983's goalkeeper Sever Caramitru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leontin Bărbătescu. With his leg Sever Caramitru managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Giurfalau's Tiberiu Florescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Vintilă Epure got a throw-in 68 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ilie Dacian. Thanks to some nice moves Leontin Bărbătescu could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Sever Caramitru however easily saved by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gică Lucan in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mădălin Nae prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 79 played minutes Fc Farul 1983 got a freekick which was hit by Călin Manciu. In the 80th minute of the match Vintilă Epure shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sever Caramitru showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leontin Bărbătescu got free with Sever Caramitru in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Sever Caramitru successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sever Caramitru made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Leontin Bărbătescu sent off a good shot on target. Fc Farul 1983's attentive Corneliu Şteţ managed to snatch the ball when Ilie Dacian made a throw-in in the 88th minute of the game. Fc Farul 1983's Sever Caramitru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Paulescu in the 90th minute of play. Fc Farul 1983's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
