Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Manzalesti FC's Ciprian Macrea started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Suceag's Petre Horhoianu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Horia Cioacă narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Iurie Basarabescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iurie Drăgănoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horia Cioacă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugen Vlădean in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Ciprian Macrea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manzalesti FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 12 played minutes, Manzalesti FC's Manuel Vârlan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Iurie Basarabescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Manzalesti FC reached it. Iurie Basarabescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciprian Macrea, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 16 minutes in the game, Virgil Zbughină fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Horia Cioacă having to interfere. Aurel Mumuleanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Iurie Basarabescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iurie Basarabescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iurie Drăgănoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugen Şiman kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Ciprian Macrea took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iurie Basarabescu. Iurie Basarabescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Manzalesti FC's zone, Vasile Bogza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horia Cioacă came out of the goal and Vasile Bogza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vali Stârcea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Manzalesti FC's Horia Cioacă got control of the ball when Vasile Bogza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Costică Cubleșan kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Manzalesti FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Petre Horhoianu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Suceag's Vasile Bogza was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Horia Cioacă in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After the first half Manzalesti FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vasile Bogza to make the kick off. Petre Horhoianu scored 2-2 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Horia Cioacă, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Suceag's Vali Stârcea got a free kick in the 57th minute. Vasile Bogza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Virgil Zbughină received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Horia Cioacă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Virgil Zbughină's late challenge caught a Manzalesti FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Virgil Zbughină helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Suceag getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Virgil Zbughină hit a great ball. In the 65thth minute of the game Vasile Bogza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manzalesti FC's Horia Cioacă was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Suceag's Vasile Bogza got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iustin Dima kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Suceag's zone, Iurie Drăgănoiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iurie Basarabescu came out of the goal and Iurie Drăgănoiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Suceag's Vasile Bogza got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Suceag's Iurie Basarabescu got control of the ball when Aurel Mumuleanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 89 minutes Manzalesti FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vasile Bogza who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Martin Novăceanu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Manzalesti FC's Horia Cioacă did a great save. Manuel Vârlan kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. If Vasile Bogza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Suceag were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Manzalesti FC to leave the ground with a draw.
