Maxim Buznea's late challenge caught a BVB Dortmund RO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bogdan Băieșu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mihail Ipătescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bogdan Băieșu's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dragoş Geangu in the 18th minute of play forced Movileni's goalkeeper Mihail Ipătescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bogdan Băieșu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valer Bocșa kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Dragoş Geangu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihail Ipătescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 minutes, Cristinel Petrulean mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Movileni and the BVB Dortmund RO players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th match minute, Movileni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristinel Petrulean to maneuver through the defense. Mihail Ipătescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Băieșu in the 29th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Sever Coporan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Bogdan Băieșu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mihail Ipătescu was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Bogdan Băieșu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihail Ipătescu having to interfere. In the 43rd minute of the match Valeriu Dobrescu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mihail Ipătescu skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Bogdan Băieșu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mihail Ipătescu was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Bogdan Băieșu made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, BVB Dortmund RO's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebiu Mineață came free, but Tiberiu Zdrelea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, BVB Dortmund RO's Ionuț Axinte got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute of the match Florin Niculescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tiberiu Zdrelea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bogdan Băieșu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bogdan Băieșu scored 0-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mihail Ipătescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rareș Bogrea kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute of the match Alexandru Popoiu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tiberiu Zdrelea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sever Coporan in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiberiu Zdrelea saved BVB Dortmund RO from getting behind. In the 76th minute Eusebiu Mineață shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiberiu Zdrelea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as BVB Dortmund RO's Dragoş Geangu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mihail Ipătescu. That made the score 0-2 after 77 minutes of play. Bogdan Băieșu took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mihail Ipătescu. Mihail Ipătescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4.
