Stanicei's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Blejan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leonard Rotariu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cazimir Brăescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Martin Chivu kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Stanicei's Leonard Rotariu managed to work through Sanzieni SC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Leonard Rotariu dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristian Marinescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stanicei's Nicu Bleoancă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Marinescu in the 54th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Radu Blaj sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Stanicei's Nicu Bleoancă didn't even have to move. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cazimir Brăescu in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. Sanzieni SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stanicei the free kick. Gică Borcea kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Nicu Bleoancă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cazimir Brăescu in the 80th minute of the match. If Leonard Rotariu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
