The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristian Marinescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Marcel Greculescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Radu Blaj hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Nicu Stelea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Irinel Săndulescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Marinescu's shot from short distance in the 95th minute.
