Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonard Rotariu started the match with the kick off. In the 10th minute Avram Ciucă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicu Bleoancă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olimpiu Lung took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Rotariu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adrian Cîrțu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Nicu Bleoancă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicu Bleoancă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Cîrțu in the 17th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Avram Ciucă in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicu Bleoancă prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Costin Braru's late challenge caught a Stanicei's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Costin Braru helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd minute, Costin Braru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adrian Cîrțu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicu Bleoancă having to make a save. In the 35th minute, Adrian Cîrțu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ciutesti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Adrian Cîrțu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ciutesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Cîrțu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicu Bleoancă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ciutesti's Avram Ciucă in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stanicei's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Stanicei getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Dan Vulcan hit a great ball. Adrian Cîrțu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Ciutesti were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Avram Ciucă was the one to do the kick off. Adrian Cîrțu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Nicu Bleoancă made a huge save. 58 minutes into the match, Adrian Cîrțu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicu Bleoancă. Stanicei's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adrian Cîrțu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 62nd minute Avram Ciucă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicu Bleoancă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Stanicei's goalkeeper Nicu Bleoancă had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrian Cîrțu. Adrian Cîrțu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Nicu Bleoancă skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Ciutesti's Avram Ciucă slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nicu Bleoancă. That made the score 0-3 after 68 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Stanicei's Costică Huidu got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute, Adrian Cîrțu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicu Bleoancă was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Adrian Cîrțu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicu Bleoancă having to make a save. Nicu Bleoancă made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adrian Cîrțu in the 87th minute. If Avram Ciucă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Costică Huidu kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Ciutesti's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
