Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Gilortu CSS's zone, Joel Hasky stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Șerban Ardeleanu came out of the goal and Joel Hasky tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 4 played minutes F.C NTY got a freekick which was hit by Mihai Vulcan. 7 minutes into the game, Dumitru Mareș cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Nicodim Dobrescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joel Hasky who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Șerban Ardeleanu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihnea Băcioiu in the 16th minute of play forced F.C NTY's goalkeeper Nicodim Dobrescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 minutes of play, Gilortu CSS's Mihnea Băcioiu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicodim Dobrescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nae Constantiniu struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Șerban Ardeleanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C NTY. F.C NTY's Nicodim Dobrescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihnea Băcioiu in the 28th minute of play. Joel Hasky fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Șerban Ardeleanu having to interfere. Dumitru Mareș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicodim Dobrescu having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihnea Băcioiu in the 35th minute of play forced F.C NTY's goalkeeper Nicodim Dobrescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Joel Hasky came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the F.C NTY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Hasky couldn't finish the play. If Joel Hasky had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Hasky could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Șerban Ardeleanu made a huge save. Mihai Vulcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Șerban Ardeleanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iulian Ologu in the 45th minute of play forced Gilortu CSS's goalkeeper Șerban Ardeleanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Gilortu CSS booed when F.C NTY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petre Penciulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mihnea Băcioiu to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Dumitru Mareș managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gilortu CSS's supporters rose to their feet, but Dumitru Mareș was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicodim Dobrescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 56th minute, Mihnea Băcioiu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nicodim Dobrescu. The goal made the score 0-3. The F.C NTY fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when F.C NTY's Joel Hasky looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nicodim Dobrescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliodor Turcescu in the 63rd minute of play. Joel Hasky took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Șerban Ardeleanu. Șerban Ardeleanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. After 70 played minutes Gilortu CSS got a freekick which was hit by Bogdan Bratoloveanu. F.C NTY's Eusebiu Mareș was substituted for Iulian Ologu. In the 71st match minute, Gilortu CSS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogdan Bratoloveanu to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Eliodor Turcescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Joel Hasky's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Șerban Ardeleanu was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Hasky in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Șerban Ardeleanu saved Gilortu CSS from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mihnea Băcioiu during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 84th match minute, Gilortu CSS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihnea Băcioiu to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 88 minutes, Joel Hasky managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C NTY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Hasky was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. F.C NTY made a substitution. Vasile Cristea replaced Joel Hasky. After some careless play in the Gilortu CSS defense, Fabian Casian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Șerban Ardeleanu. The Gilortu CSS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Șerban Ardeleanu should have stopped the shot. Despite being the better team, F.C NTY failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
