A collision led to Berca FCM getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Sabin Proca hit a great ball. Dragoş Marica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Hasky in the 11th minute of play. With a little luck, F.C NTY's Nicodim Dobrescu got control of the ball when Radu Doicaru tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicodim Dobrescu made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Sabin Proca sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute, Dorel Bărnuțiu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nicodim Dobrescu. The goal made the score 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Berca FCM's Radu Doicaru slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nicodim Dobrescu. That made the score 2-0 after 22 minutes of play. Dragoş Marica stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Hasky's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Joel Hasky sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicodim Dobrescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radu Doicaru in the 28th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Joel Hasky notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Berca FCM's Dragoş Marica. Dragoş Marica was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of F.C NTY booed when Berca FCM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorel Bărnuțiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Hasky was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Hasky in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dragoş Marica saved Berca FCM from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Rădulescu in the 54th minute of play forced F.C NTY's goalkeeper Nicodim Dobrescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dragoş Marica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iulian Ologu in the 56th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Berca FCM's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Hasky came free, but Dragoş Marica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 59 played minutes Berca FCM got a freekick which was hit by Dorel Bărnuțiu. Nicodim Dobrescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dorel Bărnuțiu went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Radu Doicaru scored 5-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicodim Dobrescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 79 minutes into the match, F.C NTY's goal looked a bit too open when Radu Doicaru came free, but Nicodim Dobrescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to F.C NTY getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Nae Constantiniu hit a great ball. F.C NTY made a substitution. Fabian Casian replaced Petre Penciulescu. In the 83rd match minute, F.C NTY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nae Constantiniu to maneuver through the defense. F.C NTY's Nicodim Dobrescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Rădulescu in the 84th minute of play. Dorel Bărnuțiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. F.C NTY's Vasile Cristea was substituted for Joel Hasky. After 93 played minutes Berca FCM got a freekick which was hit by Sabin Proca. Eusebiu Mareș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dragoş Marica having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Berca FCM fans cheered their team off the field, for while F.C NTY had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
