Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dorel Bărnuțiu took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Radu Doicaru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Șerban Ardeleanu. Gilortu CSS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Radu Doicaru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 16th match minute, Berca FCM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabin Proca to maneuver through the defense. Radu Doicaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Șerban Ardeleanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilortu CSS's Șerban Ardeleanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radu Doicaru in the 21st minute of play. With a little luck, Berca FCM's Dragoş Marica got control of the ball when Dumitru Mareș tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Berca FCM's Nechifor Păun got a free kick in the 25th minute. The long shot by Dragoş Zgrăbunţa in the 26th minute really tested Dragoş Marica's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 27 minutes into the match, Berca FCM's goalkeeper Dragoş Marica had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dumitru Mareș. 29 minutes into the game, Eliodor Turcescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Dragoş Marica was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dorel Bărnuțiu in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Șerban Ardeleanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Gilortu CSS's zone, Sabin Proca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Șerban Ardeleanu came out of the goal and Sabin Proca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dragoş Marica didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dumitru Mareș went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

In the 55thth minute of the game Mihnea Băcioiu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Berca FCM's Dragoş Marica was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Gilortu CSS booed when Berca FCM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matei Varga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute Gilortu CSS were awarded a corner. Dragoş Zgrăbunţa went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Dragoş Zgrăbunţa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Berca FCM's Dragoş Marica did a great save.
