Florin Oprescu kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Lucian Udroiu kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. If Nistor Caba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 18 minutes, Codrin Goiciu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sipoteni AS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Codrin Goiciu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Costică Lovinescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vasile Rednic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabin Dobrițoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Beica's goal looked a bit too open when Nistor Caba came free, but Mădălin Grigore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Sabin Dobrițoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasile Rednic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Beica's Mădălin Grigore got control of the ball when Codrin Goiciu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sever Tender's late challenge caught a Sipoteni AS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sever Tender helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th minute, Sever Tender hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
