Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nistor Caba took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Sipoteni AS booed when Vacareni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nistor Aalexoaiei didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 4 played minutes, Sipoteni AS's Virgil Pupăzan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tudor Aalexoaiei came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sipoteni AS reached it. In the 6th minute, Sipoteni AS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Robert Ghițulescu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Martin Tomozei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Vasile Rednic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sipoteni AS's Vasile Rednic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Ghițulescu in the 9th minute of play. Vasile Rednic made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Martin Tomozei sent off a good shot on target. Nistor Aalexoaiei did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Vasile Rednic 16 minutes into the match. Vasile Rednic was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Martin Tomozei capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Martin Tomozei really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Moise Hrean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Robert Ghițulescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vasile Rednic was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Martin Tomozei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vasile Rednic read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Iurie Onișoru charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iurie Onișoru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th minute of the match, Robert Ghițulescu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vasile Rednic saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A hard shot 35 in the game by Martin Tomozei from a close distance when the talented Vasile Rednic managed to make a qualified save. Sipoteni AS's players were relieved. Vasile Rednic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moise Hrean in the 37th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Martin Tomozei got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 44 minutes into the match, Sipoteni AS's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Ghițulescu came free, but Vasile Rednic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tudor Aalexoaiei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nistor Caba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert Ghițulescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vasile Rednic having to make a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
After 59 minutes of play, Sipoteni AS's Codrin Goiciu made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tudor Aalexoaiei was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vasile Rednic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nistor Aalexoaiei in the 63rd minute of the match. Vasile Rednic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Ghițulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Nistor Aalexoaiei struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Vasile Rednic didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vacareni. Manuel Mustăcilă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Tudor Aalexoaiei made a huge save. After some careless play in the Sipoteni AS defense, Martin Tomozei kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vasile Rednic. The Sipoteni AS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vasile Rednic should have stopped the shot. Nistor Aalexoaiei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vasile Rednic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Ghițulescu in the 78th minute of the match. Moise Hrean hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute, Sipoteni AS's Petruț Pelin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tudor Aalexoaiei. Tudor Aalexoaiei yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2. Tudor Aalexoaiei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petruț Pelin, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. When Moise Hrean came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Vacareni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moise Hrean couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Mustăcilă during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Manuel Mustăcilă kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Vacareni's Robert Ghițulescu got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Moise Hrean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasile Rednic having to interfere. Martin Tomozei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Robert Ghițulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Vacareni were the better team. Vacareni's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
