Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nistor Caba got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Mircea Lăcătuș fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Vasile Rednic, passed just outside the right post. Călin Zgaroi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Codrin Goiciu in the 14th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Moise Vizitiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nistor Caba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alex Lupoi was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 21 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Alex Lupoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Virgil Pupăzan came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Sipoteni AS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgil Pupăzan couldn't finish the play. Călin Zgaroi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Codrin Goiciu, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, Club Foot's goal looked a bit too open when Nistor Caba came free, but Călin Zgaroi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Sipoteni AS booed when Club Foot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moise Vizitiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Luca Malcoci was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sipoteni AS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Foot the free kick. In the 38th match minute, Sipoteni AS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Malcoci to maneuver through the defense. In the 39thth minute of the game Mircea Lăcătuș who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sipoteni AS's Vasile Rednic was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Moise Vizitiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasile Rednic having to interfere. Mircea Lăcătuș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sipoteni AS's Vasile Rednic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mircea Lăcătuș in the 47th minute of play. The corner led Club Foot's Moise Vizitiu to fire away a dangerous shot which Vasile Rednic despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mircea Lăcătuș made a kick off. Club Foot's Călin Zgaroi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Club Foot from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nistor Caba got free with Călin Zgaroi in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Codrin Goiciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Club Foot's zone, Petruț Pelin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Călin Zgaroi came out of the goal and Petruț Pelin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th minute, Codrin Goiciu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Călin Zgaroi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 76th minute of the match Sipoteni AS got a corner. Club Foot's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Virgil Pupăzan ran over to the corner to take the kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Nistor Caba kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Călin Zgaroi. That made the score 0-2 in the 80 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petruț Pelin got free with Călin Zgaroi in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vasile Rednic didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mircea Lăcătuș went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Moise Vizitiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Vasile Rednic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Codrin Goiciu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Călin Zgaroi made a huge save. The supporters of Sipoteni AS booed when Club Foot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silviu Teofil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sipoteni AS's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
