Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the game, one of Firizu AC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 9 minutes into the game, Balc AS's Nistor Soneriu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dan Mihai made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Ivan Bogdănescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Firizu AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Bogdănescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sabin Cârjă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mihnea Boroneanț hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Daniel Hârlab received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Sabin Cârjă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Dan Mihai successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucrețiu Bădilescu in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dan Mihai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Balc AS's zone, Iustinian Bungeanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sabin Cârjă came out of the goal and Iustinian Bungeanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iustin Chiriloaie made in the 32nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Lucrețiu Bădilescu however managed to control. Damian Neagoe hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Lucrețiu Bădilescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Dan Mihai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucrețiu Bădilescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Mihai having to interfere. If Traian Măcrinici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 minutes, Iker Fero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Firizu AC and the Balc AS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Iker Fero kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucrețiu Bădilescu was the one to do the kick off. If Nistor Soneriu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Firizu AC's Dan Mihai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucrețiu Bădilescu in the 62nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mihnea Boroneanț during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Tansel Topçam came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Firizu AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tansel Topçam couldn't finish the play. Abdi Mehmet Özluer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
