Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Lupuesti's Rareș Mugur started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Cristian Slicaru came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Lupuesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Slicaru couldn't finish the play. Lupuesti's Ivan Puișoru got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lupuesti's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Filip Zdrăilă scored to the left of an out of position Sever Bădiliță, making the score, 1-0. Rareș Mugur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rareș Mugur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Rareș Mugur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ionuț Bacalu was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. In the 28th minute, Ivan Puișoru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Filip Zdrăilă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Ferdinand Braica had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sever Bădiliță. Lupuesti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ferdinand Braica was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Toader Ailioaiei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ionuț Bacalu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filip Zdrăilă made a kick off. Ionuț Bacalu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Puișoru in the 56th minute of the match. Sever Bădiliță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinand Braica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicu Văleanu in the 58th minute of play forced Lupuesti's goalkeeper Sever Bădiliță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lupuesti's zone, Filip Zdrăilă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sever Bădiliță came out of the goal and Filip Zdrăilă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sever Bădiliță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Braica in the 66th minute of play. Ionuț Bacalu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rareș Mugur in the 68th minute of the match. Rareș Mugur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionuț Bacalu having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Rareș Mugur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Toader Ailioaiei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Slicaru struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Ionuț Bacalu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lupuesti. Herman CSS's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rareș Mugur 80 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Herman CSS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Cristian Slicaru scored to the left of an out of position Ionuț Bacalu, making the score, 2-2. 94 minutes into the game, Lupuesti's Sandu Coraș nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ionuț Bacalu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. In the 97th minute, Rareș Mugur left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lupuesti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. When the match was over Lupuesti could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Herman CSS throughout the match.
