Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ciprian Chibulcutean made the kick off which started today's match. Sever Bădiliță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciprian Chibulcutean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rareș Mugur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Doru Hogaș made a huge save. Rareș Mugurs short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Doru Hogaș to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lupuesti's Sever Bădiliță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Săndoi in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th minute Rareș Mugur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doru Hogaș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Izvorasu AC's Doru Hogaș got control of the ball when Toader Ailioaiei tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sever Bădiliță came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Izvorasu AC's Cristi Şania. But to his dismay, Cristi Şania quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 27th minute, Toader Ailioaiei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Doru Hogaș was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a rather tough play, Izvorasu AC's Ciprian Chibulcutean got a free kick in the 29th minute. When Cristian Slicaru came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Lupuesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Slicaru couldn't finish the play. 39 minutes into the match, Izvorasu AC's goal looked a bit too open when Rareș Mugur came free, but Doru Hogaș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doru Hogaș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octav Carp in the 40th minute of the match. Ivan Puișoru might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Doru Hogaș. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ivan Puișoru ran back to his position shaking his head. Rareș Mugur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rareș Mugur was the one to do the kick off. Doru Hogaș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toader Ailioaiei in the 52nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rareș Mugur in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Doru Hogaș saved Izvorasu AC from getting behind. In the 54th match minute, Izvorasu AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Buzoianu to maneuver through the defense. The Lupuesti fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Lupuesti's Rareș Mugur looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rareș Mugur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Izvorasu AC's goal looked a bit too open when Rareș Mugur came free, but Doru Hogaș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Izvorasu AC booed when Lupuesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rareș Mugur didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 67 played minutes Izvorasu AC got a freekick which was hit by Corneliu Zbora. Rareș Mugur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 73 minutes, Ivan Puișoru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lupuesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Puișoru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Slicaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Vlad Tâlvescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lupuesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Vlad Tâlvescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doru Hogaș breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Octav Carp fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lupuesti's protests and gave Octav Carp a yellow card for diving instead. After 79 played minutes Lupuesti got a freekick which was hit by Octav Carp. After a rather tough play, Lupuesti's Cristian Slicaru got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 83rd match minute, Lupuesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Slicaru to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Lupuesti's Sever Bădiliță got control of the ball when Cristi Şania tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Slicaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doru Hogaș having to interfere. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Rareș Mugur sped through Izvorasu AC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Doru Hogaș. After 93 played minutes Lupuesti got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Slicaru. In the 94th minute of the match, Ciprian Chibulcutean tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sever Bădiliță saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Lupuesti's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
