Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Victor Bobei made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Varasti booed when FC BALS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihai Mihăilă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tudor Cobzeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mircea Drăghincescu in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, Varasti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sever Trişcu to maneuver through the defense. Tudor Cobzeanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Bobei, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Thanks to some nice moves Ciprian Hârlău could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which Luca Cazimir however easily saved by the left post. In the 30th minute, Iulian Topală hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tudor Cobzeanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mircea Drăghincescu's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 34th minute, Călin Barascu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luca Cazimir came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by FC BALS's Ciprian Hârlău. But to his dismay, Ciprian Hârlău quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Victor Bobei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Varasti's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Bobei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tudor Cobzeanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 43 minutes, Tiberiu Mumuleanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC BALS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiberiu Mumuleanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mircea Drăghincescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tudor Cobzeanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tiberiu Mumuleanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tudor Ivăncioiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luca Cazimir having to interfere. In the 58th minute Tudor Ivăncioiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luca Cazimir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was a well-played corner which Irinel Răducu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiberiu Mumuleanu in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luca Cazimir saved Varasti from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tudor Ivăncioiu in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luca Cazimir prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 73rd minute, Traian Joanță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Victor Bobei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Bobei received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tudor Cobzeanu came out and tried to block the shot, but Victor Bobei slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 91st minute. Luca Cazimir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciprian Hârlău, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chants of Varasti echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as FC BALS had held the ball for most of the match.
