Eugen Timaru started the match with the kick off. Varasti's Victor Bobei got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eugen Timaru spun around in front of the goal 9 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Varasti's goal. Victor Bobei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Rareș Buciu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Bobei in the 23rd minute of play forced STAU BUKREŞ's goalkeeper Rareș Buciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mircea Drăghincescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Rareș Buciu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Bobei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Mircea Drăghincescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Victor Bobei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rareș Buciu having to interfere. Eugen Timaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victor Bobei to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mircea Drăghincescu in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rareș Buciu saved STAU BUKREŞ from getting behind. If Victor Bobei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mircea Drăghincescu in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rareș Buciu saved STAU BUKREŞ from getting behind. Mircea Drăghincescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mircea Drăghincescu struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Rareș Buciu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Varasti. Victor Bobei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Rareș Buciu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute Victor Bobei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rareș Buciu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Bobei in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rareș Buciu saved STAU BUKREŞ from getting behind. Eugen Timaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mihail Zdrăilă during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of STAU BUKREŞ booed when Varasti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihail Zdrăilă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luca Cazimir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Timaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Traian Babeș managed to get in a good position for a shot. STAU BUKREŞ's supporters rose to their feet, but Traian Babeș was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luca Cazimir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as STAU BUKREŞ's Eugen Timaru slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luca Cazimir. That made the score 1-1 after 94 minutes of play. Varasti were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing STAU BUKREŞ to leave the ground with a draw.
