In the 25th minute Gică Cornoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radu Coșmeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Constantin Potocianu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miraul FCM's Radu Coșmeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantin Potocianu in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantin Potocianu in the 30th minute of play forced Miraul FCM's goalkeeper Radu Coșmeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Constantin Potocianu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Radu Coșmeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iordache Dudău's late challenge caught a Miraul FCM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iordache Dudău helped the player get up and apologised. Denis Deșliu scored 1-2 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emilian Mîțu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristur's Emilian Mîțu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Cristur from getting a goal against them.

If Constantin Potocianu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Miraul FCM's goalkeeper Radu Coșmeanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 60th minute, one of Miraul FCM:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Miraul FCM. 1-3 came through a penalty shot after 61 played minutes, when Cristur:s Martin Harbuz calmly waited for Miraul FCM:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Miraul FCM's zone, Gică Cornoiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radu Coșmeanu came out of the goal and Gică Cornoiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 67 in the game by Constantin Potocianu from a close distance when the talented Radu Coșmeanu managed to make a qualified save. Miraul FCM's players were relieved. Constantin Potocianu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Miraul FCM booed when Cristur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moise Stănilă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Constantin Potocianu might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Radu Coșmeanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Constantin Potocianu ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Dumitrescu in the 86th minute of play forced Cristur's goalkeeper Emilian Mîțu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Constantin Potocianu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radu Coșmeanu having to interfere. Valentin Dumitrescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Emilian Mîțu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristur played a much better game than Miraul FCM and deserved their victory. The Miraul FCM players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
