Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Octav Donose started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 2 minutes into the match, Gusu's goal looked a bit too open when Gică Cornoiu came free, but Matei Zburliş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 4th minute Gică Cornoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matei Zburliş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Constantin Potocianu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matei Zburliş having to interfere. Constantin Potocianu struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Matei Zburliş didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cristur. If Constantin Potocianu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Cristur booed when Gusu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihăiţă Marica didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matei Zburliş was a little too slow when Gică Cornoiu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-0. After having played for 25 minutes, Octav Donose managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gusu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octav Donose was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28th minute, Vasile Ignat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Octavian Corcoveanu kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Martin Harbuz struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Matei Zburliş didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cristur. After 42 played minutes Gusu got a freekick which was hit by Mugurel Dărăscu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Constantin Potocianu got free with Matei Zburliş in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iordache Dudău during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th match minute, Cristur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iordache Dudău to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute Octav Donose shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilian Mîțu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gică Cornoiu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gică Cornoiu in the 53rd minute of play forced Gusu's goalkeeper Matei Zburliş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gică Cornoiu might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matei Zburliş. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gică Cornoiu ran back to his position shaking his head. If Gică Cornoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Matei Zburliş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantin Potocianu in the 61st minute of play. Emilian Mîțu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octav Donose, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gică Cornoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matei Zburliş having to interfere. Matei Zburliş stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Constantin Potocianu's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. 76 minutes into the match, Cristur's goalkeeper Emilian Mîțu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nichifor Păuceanu. 77 minutes into the match, Cristur's goal looked a bit too open when Octav Donose came free, but Emilian Mîțu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Constantin Potocianu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matei Zburliş having to interfere. Matei Zburliş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gică Cornoiu in the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantin Potocianu in the 83rd minute of play forced Gusu's goalkeeper Matei Zburliş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Constantin Potocianu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matei Zburliş having to interfere. Constantin Potocianu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Matei Zburliş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matei Zburliş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moise Stănilă, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Cristur walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
