In the 26th minute, Anton Stejaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maxim Bârza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anton Stejaru went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The attack was good, but when Silviu Ţăranu in the 35th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 39th minute Silviu Ţăranu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxim Bârza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Voiculescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Eduard Zota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Horaţiu Văcăroiu to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Cotorman AFC booed when Ciucia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliodor Oproiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciucia's Maxim Bârza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silviu Ţăranu in the 93rd minute of play. Mădălin Câmpeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Eduard Zota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cotorman AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ciucia.
