In the 24th minute, Felix Popic got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Matei Stroie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vlad Cornoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ilie Miron scored 0-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marius Sădeanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FCSB's Marius Sădeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rareș Isopescu in the 31st minute of play. Marius Sădeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihnea Amitroaiei in the 33rd minute of the match. Sorin Calomfirescu kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Mihnea Amitroaiei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marius Sădeanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Ilie Miron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Marius Sădeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vlad Cornoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vlad Cornoiu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, FCSB's goalkeeper Marius Sădeanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Popic. A collision led to FCSB getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Vlad Cornoiu hit a great ball. Mihnea Amitroaiei was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 61st minute. ESTRANGED's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Marin Stroescu hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Marius Sădeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stelian Mustață in the 64th minute of play. Felix Popic's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marius Sădeanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Aristide Maleș recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marius Sădeanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilie Miron, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 71st match minute, ESTRANGED was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristide Maleș to maneuver through the defense. Ilie Miron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Marius Sădeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Popic got free with Marius Sădeanu in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Florin Grecu kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vlad Cornoiu in the 88th minute of play forced ESTRANGED's goalkeeper Matei Stroie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florin Grecu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Florin Grecu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
