Manuel Filipașcu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Bârsan, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Augustin Barna struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Martin Gorjanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Giroc All StarS. Augustin Barna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Martin Gorjanu made a huge save. Paul Luncașu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Filipașcu having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Augustin Barna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martin Gorjanu was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Giroc All StarS's zone, Paul Luncașu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Filipașcu came out of the goal and Paul Luncașu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paul Luncașu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Manuel Filipașcu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Giroc All StarS's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Luncașu came free, but Manuel Filipașcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paul Luncașu in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Filipașcu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Odoreul booed when Giroc All StarS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Şuţu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The attack was good, but when Paul Luncașu in the 33rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Luca Bârsan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martin Gorjanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toader Bârsan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Toader Bârsan was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Vlad Bulzan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Odoreul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Giroc All StarS the free kick. In the 53rd minute, Vlad Bulzan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Giroc All StarS's Manuel Filipașcu got control of the ball when Luca Bârsan tried to sneak it across the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Giroc All StarS's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Luncașu came free, but Manuel Filipașcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Augustin Barna notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Odoreul's Martin Gorjanu. Martin Gorjanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Martin Gorjanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toader Bârsan in the 67th minute of play. When Augustin Barna came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Giroc All StarS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augustin Barna couldn't finish the play. 75 minutes into the match, Luca Bârsan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Manuel Filipașcu, 2-1. When Paul Luncașu came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Odoreul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paul Luncașu couldn't finish the play. In the 91st match minute, Giroc All StarS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugen Măgurean to maneuver through the defense. When Odoreul's Luca Bârsan in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Giroc All StarS's goalie prevented a goal. Giroc All StarS succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Odoreul had controlled the match.
