If Ion Vlas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mihail Gâdea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ion Vlas, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Mires's Răzvan Mazăre got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Mires's goal looked a bit too open when Eugen Olaru came free, but Gavril Zăvoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, SPERANTA -MM-'s Romeo Dobrin got a free kick in the 77th minute. Eusebiu Tănase fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihail Gâdea having to interfere. Mihail Gâdea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ion Vlas in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Romeo Dobrin made a precise shot to the right of Gavril Zăvoiu. Mires's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 92 minutes into the match, Ciprian Budac dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mihail Gâdea, 1-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Mires players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
