An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabin Tutuianu in the 7th minute of play forced FCSB's goalkeeper Valentin Necula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 崔凌荣 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viorel Gavra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute Marian Nediu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 崔凌荣 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Ovidiu Vizitiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FCSB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CS Nadia the free kick. A collision led to FCSB getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Ovidiu Vizitiu hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Nediu in the 17th minute of play forced CS Nadia's goalkeeper 崔凌荣 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CS Nadia's Sabin Tutuianu got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Marian Nediu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sorin Graur's late challenge caught a CS Nadia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sorin Graur helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Robert Radulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. CS Nadia's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Radulescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valentin Necula breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 31 played minutes FCSB got a freekick which was hit by Marian Nediu. After a defensive mix-up in FCSB's zone, Horea Zamfira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Necula came out of the goal and Horea Zamfira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sabin Tutuianu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Valentin Necula skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 崔凌荣 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marian Nediu, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Sabin Tutuianu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Necula having to interfere. During the 47th minute of the match Ovidiu Vizitiu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ovidiu Vizitiu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 48th minute, Ovidiu Vizitiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viorel Gavra made a kick off. After a rather tough play, FCSB's Matei Jula got a free kick in the 52nd minute. When CS Nadia's Sabin Tutuianu in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FCSB's goalie prevented a goal. Sorin Graur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valentin Necula stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sabin Tutuianu's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. In the 66th play minute Viorel Gavra came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised 崔凌荣. 1-1. 崔凌荣 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viorel Gavra in the 72nd minute. After 73 minutes, Marian Nediu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FCSB and the CS Nadia players grew even worse after the yellow card.
