Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Mangesti's Ferdinand Răuțu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Mangesti getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Gabriel Cupșa hit a great ball. In the 4th minute, Ferdinand Bălcescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Grigore Nenițescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costică Istrăteanu in the 7th minute of the match. After 8 played minutes Granari got a freekick which was hit by Valeriu Angheluță. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ferdinand Răuțu sped through Granari's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Grigore Nenițescu. Cristian Mircescu kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Grigore Nenițescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinand Răuțu in the 17th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Granari defense, Ferdinand Răuțu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Grigore Nenițescu. The Granari fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Grigore Nenițescu should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Mangesti's Grigore Antohi got a free kick in the 27th minute. If Ferdinand Bălcescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Grigore Nenițescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinand Răuțu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Mangesti booed when Granari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Mircescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Costică Istrăteanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Grigore Nenițescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferdinand Răuțu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Costică Istrăteanu placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After a defensive mix-up in Granari's zone, Ferdinand Răuțu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Grigore Nenițescu came out of the goal and Ferdinand Răuțu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute, Costică Istrăteanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mangesti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgar Zdrehuş stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Granari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Mircescu to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the game, Mugur Nițisor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Leonard Amuguroancei was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leonard Amuguroancei came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Granari's Edgar Zdrehuş. But to his dismay, Edgar Zdrehuş quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. After a rather tough play, Mangesti's Grigore Antohi got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 84th minute Edgar Zdrehuş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonard Amuguroancei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costică Istrăteanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Costică Istrăteanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Granari's Grigore Nenițescu got control of the ball when Ferdinand Răuțu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Granari's zone, Costică Istrăteanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Grigore Nenițescu came out of the goal and Costică Istrăteanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mangesti's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
