Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Seciurile's Edgar Ciupe started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Costică Istrăteanu took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Petre Cândreanu. Petre Cândreanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Ferdinand Răuțu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petre Cândreanu having to interfere. Ferdinand Răuțu scored 2-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Petre Cândreanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 27 minutes into the game, Costică Istrăteanu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Petre Cândreanu. Costică Istrăteanu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Costică Istrăteanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute Flavius Bogatu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonard Amuguroancei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferdinand Răuțu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Petre Cândreanu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Viorel Arosculesei received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Petre Cândreanu came out and tried to block the shot, but Viorel Arosculesei slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 41st minute. In the 47th minute, Edgar Ciupe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonard Amuguroancei was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ferdinand Răuțu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Costică Istrăteanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petre Cândreanu. Seciurile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Costică Istrăteanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Costică Istrăteanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mangesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Costică Istrăteanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petre Cândreanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Costică Istrăteanu in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petre Cândreanu saved Seciurile from getting behind. Costică Istrăteanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 66th minute, Horaţiu Vâlcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Cupșa hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The supporters of Seciurile booed when Mangesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciprian Muncelean didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petre Cândreanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costică Istrăteanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferdinand Răuțu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute Costică Istrăteanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petre Cândreanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petre Cândreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Răuțu in the 95th minute of play. Ferdinand Răuțu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Mangesti's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
