Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nechifor Ştefănoiu kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd match minute, Cetatele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Șerban Gologan to maneuver through the defense. Cetatele's Nicu Dragota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Pânzariu in the 3rd minute of play. Petrică Bîlbă might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cazimir Angheloiu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Petrică Bîlbă ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Cetatele getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Sever Cozac hit a great ball. Vintilă Covaci kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Cazimir Angheloiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petrică Bîlbă in the 12th minute of play. The supporters of Cetatele booed when Sudrigi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ioan Tomoioagă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cazimir Angheloiu was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sever Cozac. In the 18th minute, one of Sudrigi:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sudrigi. Fabian Brătescu kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Nicu Dragota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Pânzariu in the 32nd minute of play. If Nechifor Ştefănoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers George Pânzariu in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicu Dragota saved Cetatele from getting behind. After 37 minutes, Dinu Cămărășescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cetatele and the Sudrigi players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 37 played minutes Cetatele got a freekick which was hit by Dinu Cămărășescu. Ioan Tomoioagă kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Liviu Stroia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cetatele fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Dinu Cămărășescu got his second yellow card in the match during the 47th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Cetatele's Dinu Cămărășescu got a free kick in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Liviu Stroia to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Rareș Angheloiu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cetatele and the Sudrigi players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 54 played minutes Cetatele got a freekick which was hit by Rareș Angheloiu. George Pânzariu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Nicu Dragota made a huge save. Cetatele's Nicu Dragota proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Cetatele from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 69 in the game by George Pânzariu from a close distance when the talented Nicu Dragota managed to make a qualified save. Cetatele's players were relieved. After 73 minutes of play, Cetatele's Liviu Stroia made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cazimir Angheloiu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nechifor Ştefănoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Liviu Stroia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cetatele had won after a very even match.
